Dalaco Trading Terms & Conditions

Dalaco sells to the trade not the public.  If you would like to purchase any of our products but you are not in business to sell them, just tell us where you are and we will advise you of a retailer in your area that buys from Dalaco.

Dalaco policy is to delivery to your business address (normally your Invoice address) not the address of your customer.

If you need your order delivered to one of your own business addresses which is not your Invoice address you can specify this in the Special Delivery Instructions or send an Email to: Sales@Dalaco.co.uk

Buying from Dalaco

Online transactions are handled securely by WorldPay for MasterCard, Visa, Maestro (Switch) and other major cards.  American Express (Amex) and Diners not accepted.

All prices are shown in GB Pounds (GBP) and do not include VAT.   For EU customers VAT is added at the checkout.  VAT exemption can be selected if you are eligible.  The exchange rate used is set by WorldPay not Dalaco.  Refunds will be calculated at the same exchange rate as the order.  Orders can be paid for in GBP, US Dollar, Australian Dollar or Euro.

Channel Island customers can select VAT exemption by selecting any EU member state except the UK when entering their invoice address.

Important Notes:

  1. Your order may be rejected if the address you give varies to that held by your card issuer
  2. Dalaco reserves the right to ask for a 5% administration charge if your card payment details fail WorldPay's validation and Dalaco subsequently has to process your payment again

Payment Card Security
All Credit and Debit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using industry standard encryption.  They are only decrypted after they reach WorldPay's secure environment.  They are not held in clear text on any web site and are not seen by Dalaco.

Guaranteed for 2 years
Our products come with a two-year guarantee against faulty manufacture.   In the unlikely event you have cause to return any of our products for replacement please refer to “Contacting Dalaco”.

Shipping charges & Tax

Tax Charges
VAT (Value Added Tax 17.5% also known as purchase tax or sales tax) is added to the product price and any shipping charge for all orders from any EU country and the Channel Islands*.  If you are elligible to buy without paying VAT then you must tick the appropriate box and provide your VAT Registration number please*.

* Channel Island customers:
When entering your invoice address, for Country/Nation please select any EU member state except the UK.  This will ensure you have the opportunity to select VAT exemption after you have entered your invoice details, VAT registration number not required.

Shipping charges to United Kingdom and Channel Island addresses:

Shipping charges to European Union (EU) addresses:

* VAT will not be charged if you declare exemption and provide your VAT Registration number.
* Channel Island customers need not provide a VAT Registration number.

Shipping charges to non-EU addresses:

Despatch & Transit Times:

We aim to despatch all orders by the fifth day following receipt of order (weekends and public holidays excluded).
For very large orders (100+ products) it can take longer.

EU addresses
Transit times normally vary from 2 to 7 days (weekends & holidays excluded) depending on delivery address.

Non-EU addresses
Transit times normally vary from 4 to 14 days (weekends & holidays excluded) depending on delivery address.

Christmas deliveries take longer Christmas delivery times:
From October to Christmas despatch and transit times can each be up to 14 days more than stated above.

To get your Christmas stock you are strongly advised to order before October.

Out of Stock items

Orders for UK, Channel Islands and Ireland

If any items are not in stock they will be sent as soon as available.   They will appear as Back Order items on your invoice and packing list.

If you cancel any items on Back Order a refund will be credited to your card account, normally within 48 hours (weekends and holidays excluded).

Orders to Rest of World

Out of stock items will be cancelled by Dalaco.  A refund will be credited to your card account before your order is despatched.

Privacy Policy

Dalaco does not sell customer information to third parties.

Dalaco does not see your card mumber, Expiry Date or Security Code when orders are placed on Dalaco's website.

Cookies are used to store information on your computer in order to...
  1: Keep track of the contents of your shopping basket
  2: Store delivery addresses if the address book is used
  3: Store your address details (if you select the 'Remember Me' option)*

  * Your card details are not stored.  Dalaco does not see your card number, expiry date or security code.
